Terminal A At Abu Dhabi International Airport now has twenty-eight fully operational airlines

At Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH), Terminal A now accommodates twenty-eight fully operational airlines. The airport operator verified on Wednesday that these carriers have fully moved to the new terminal. Terminal A is Abu Dhabi International Airport's "primary" terminal. The smooth transition will enable the terminal to handle 79 flights at once and process up to 45 million passengers annually—a significant increase in capacity.

In December, 12,220 planes carrying over 2.29 million people are expected to arrive in the posh new terminal. 1,557 flights were conducted in the first two weeks of November. Over 7,600 flights will have been conducted by the end of the month.

February 9, 2024, is the scheduled date of Terminal A's formal inauguration ceremony. Zayed International Airport will be the new name of the airport after this.
