Surf Abu Dhabi on Hudayriyat Island is slated for opening in early 2024

During the exclusive first test ride at Surf Abu Dhabi on Hudayriyat Island, world-class surfers were astounded by the waves they experienced. Starting in early 2024, the facility will host several well-known athletes, including American Kelly Slater, an 11-time World Surf League winner. The world's longest ride, largest barrel, and man-made wave facility are all part of this ground-breaking destination, which was developed by Modon Properties in partnership with the Kelly Slater Wave Company (KSWC), a leading global authority on man-made wave technology.

All skill levels of surfers, from novices to pros, will find inspiration and support at Surf Abu Dhabi. Other world champions that tested the waves at the facility were Moroccan surfer Ramzi Boukhiam, American Caroline Marks, Brazilian Filipe Toledo, and Australian Stephanie Gilmore.

The chairman of Modon Properties and the chairman of the Department of Finance, Jassem Mohamed Bu Ataba Al Zaabi, disclosed that Surf Abu Dhabi would shortly be exposed to the public.
