Students can learn scuba diving, horseback riding, and receive military training in summer courses by Dubai Police from July 1

News EventBeginning Monday, July 1, students between the ages of 11 and 18 may now enrol in Dubai Police's forthcoming summer classes to study scuba diving, equestrian riding, and military training. Students of various nationalities and from both public and private schools are welcome to enrol in the courses.
The curriculum is a part of the Hemaya International Centre project by Dubai Police, which aims to give pupils useful life and social skills. It seeks to ingrain principles of accountability, structure, and discipline.
Activities and awareness lectures on drugs, criminality, and misbehaviour were part of the summer programme. 525,260 kids in all, including 108,432 students from private schools, have benefited from the awareness programmes. The International Protection Centre and the General Administration of Narcotics Control collaborate to arrange the programmes.
