The Dubai Police stated that there would be a severe penalty if the vehicle was stopped in the middle of the road. Major General Saif Muhair Al Masroui, director of the traffic department, said that according to the federal traffic law, violators will be fined 1000 dirhams and 6 black points.
Many people park their vehicles in the middle of the road due to reasons such as engine failure, lack of fuel, flat tire, etc. Such problems can be avoided if the vehicle is roadworthy before the journey.
He said that if the vehicle that was running suddenly breaks down, immediately inform the police and also give a safety warning so that other vehicles do not get into an accident. Those involved in minor accidents were also reminded to move to the side of the road so that other vehicles do not suffer the consequences.
