Special show, tickets will be available to public for UAE National Day ceremony to be held at Expo City

UAE National Day, also known as Union Day, is on Saturday, December 2. Expo City will host the formal ceremony for the unique public holiday commemorating the union of all seven Emirates into one nation.

The venue, which is playing home to COP28 from Thursday, November 30 to Tuesday, December 12, will present a show that highlights the UAE's aspirations to be a sustainable nation while also telling the tale of its legacy. There will be storytelling, performances, and projections that are free to the public and that will highlight the UAE's vision for a sustainable future. Tickets will be made available soon.

For National Day, the UAE's public and private sectors will be closed for three days, from Saturday, December 2, to Monday, December 4.

Commemoration Day is Thursday, November 30, however the commercial sector observes Friday, December 1 as a public holiday. National Day is Saturday, December 2, and there will be a second day on Sunday, December 3.
