Space Perspective aims to launch affordable space tourism from Dubai

Visitors will be able to glimpse the Burj Khalifa from the edge of space at a launch point in Dubai, according to a business that wants to make space travel more accessible. Officials from Space Perspective described their vision. The organization wants to lower the cost of space travel and increase accessibility for everybody.

A six-hour ride is available from the company for about Dh460,000. It requires two hours to ascend. The traveler spends two hours at the edge of space in a luxuriously seated capsule, where they can eat and gaze out from the biggest windows ever flown to space.

According to Roman Chiporukha, the CEO and co-founder of SpaceVIP, a project partner,  "It takes training and you have six Gs on your chest if you want to go up under propulsion on a rocket," Roman explained. Under a hydrogen balloon, a pressurized capsule travels to the edge of space. On your journey to the edge of space, you travel at an incredible 12 miles per hour. Additionally, anyone can travel to the moon in a spaceship if they can ride an ordinary commercial airplane.

The Space Lounge can hold upto eight people and a captain at once, according to the company's website. Michael Savage, CEO, also described Roman's efforts to recruit a chef with a Michelin star. He remarked, "It enabled us to serve the first Michelin-starred meal in space."
