Smart traffic signal drone that will be able to fly to trouble spots across the country to be launched in the UAE

The smart traffic signal drone was one of the many interesting gadgets that were on display at the WPS. A robotic sniper was another one of them. Called the UAE Sniper, the robotic device shoots paintballs at a suspected criminal or location to mark them as suspicious. Developed by Ajman Police, it has been used for over three months and currently boasts a 98 per cent accuracy.

Among the numerous fascinating devices on show at the WPS was the smart traffic signal drone. One of them was a robotic sniper. The robotic tool, known as the UAE Sniper, marks a potential criminal or area with paintballs by firing them in that direction. It was created by the Ajman Police, and after more than three months of operation, it has a 98% accuracy rate at this point.

The gadget has two cameras and runs on batteries; it may be operated remotely. A sniper camera is one of the cameras, while the guide camera is the other. The batteries have a maximum 58-hour lifespan. This device's second version will have a 360-degree camera that can rapidly and accurately identify a target.

All locals are welcome to attend the WPS, which is being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre till Thursday, March 7, at no cost. It allows them to view some of the newest gear, such as the Ministry of Interior's e-shooter line. A laser gun is available for visitors to fire ten bullets at a silicon body.
