• Extension of entry permit for tourism
• Extension of entry permit for residents of GCC countries
• Extension of entry permit for tourism for 30 days can be done twice. This application can be made only through tourism companies.

You may extend your entry permit twice for a 30-day visit.

A 30-day entrance permit extension is limited to citizens of GCC nations. 

Documents needed: In order to extend the permission, each of the three groups must produce a copy of their passport. 

Cost:

• Extension of the tourism entrance permit: Dh610 (including Dh10 e-services cost) 
• Extension of visa entry permit: Dh610 (including Dh10 e-services cost) 
• Extension of entry permission for GCC nationals: Dh710 (including Dh10 e-services cost)

More than a 30-day extension 

Permits of three different kinds can have their durations extended beyond thirty days. These are listed in the following order: 

• Extending the treatment-related entrance permit 
• Extending the admission authorisation for GCC nationals' partners 
• Extending the research permit for entrance 

The duration of a treatment-related entrance permit extension is 90 days. 

The duration of a GCC citizen's companion's entrance permit might be extended by 60 days. 

A 90-day extension of the research entrance permit is possible. 

Documents needed: In order to extend the permission, each of the three groups must produce a copy of their passport.

Cost:

• Extension of treatment-related entry permit: Dh510 (including Dh10 for e-services) 
• Extension of entry permit: Dh260 (including Dh10 e-services cost) for companions of GCC citizens 
• Extension of study permit: Dh610, which includes a Dh10 e-services charge 

Qualifications:

If an applicant wants to extend their entrance permission, they must fulfil specific qualifying requirements. These are the following: 

The passport of the applicant must be valid for at least six months.
