News EventTia and Rio, two siblings who are part of the TeamAngelWolf family from Dubai, have accomplished a tremendous achievement by creating a new Guinness World Record. They have established the benchmark for "fastest time to complete an Olympic distance triathlon while carrying another person" together.
Rio, who is 20 years old, is a determined individual, but his 16-year-old sister Tia, who accompanied him in this multisport race, credits the latter's support with a big part of their success. Tia completed the event by riding 50 km on a specially made cycle while dragging Rio in the front, swimming 1.5 kilometres while pushing Rio in a boat, and lastly running 10 kilometres while pushing Rio in a running chair.
A remarkable 3 hours, 39 minutes, and 37 seconds was achieved as a consequence of their combined efforts, beating the previous Guinness World Record mark of 3 hours, 45 minutes, by an amazing five minutes. Even though they had competed in the triathlon in Dubai in March, they had to wait until Guinness informed them of the results.
