Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai’s main thoroughfare, will be closed to vehicles on Sunday, November 24, for the Dubai Run event. This popular activity invites both professional and amateur runners to race along the iconic road.
The upcoming closure follows a similar event on Sunday, November 10, when the road was shut for Dubai Ride, a cycling event held as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge.
The road closure for the Dubai Run will primarily take place early in the morning. The last group of runners will start at 8:00 AM for the 5km route and 7:30 AM for the 10km route, after which the road is expected to gradually reopen.
