Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum approved a set of new projects across key sectors

The Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, today approved several new initiatives in several important fields, including healthcare, transportation, and aviation. The project approvals represent a significant turning point in the ambitious "Dubai 10X" effort, which seeks to establish Dubai as a global leader in future preparation. The initiative is in its third phase. The initiative's third phase, which aims to actively bring about a fundamental transformation in the thinking of government sector personnel, is focused on achieving this goal. The ultimate objective is to encourage the global development of unusual and creative projects and activities that are expressly geared towards addressing forthcoming issues and seizing new possibilities.

"We have approved a comprehensive package of transformational projects, which are expected to accelerate Dubai's progress towards an innovative, dynamic future," stated Sheikh Hamdan. Our goal is to ensure that the outcomes of these initiatives significantly improve the quality of life and wellness of Dubai's citizens and tourists, giving special attention to their health and level of living. "These new projects are poised to streamline and expedite transport within Dubai, enhance the travelling experience at Dubai's airports, and establish a robust healthcare system for early disease detection."

The "Dubai 10X" project, he said, "reaffirms Dubai's commitment to enhancing government operations, fostering collaboration, and embracing innovative ideas that play a pivotal role in advancing crucial sectors for the present and the future." Utilising the various national skills that were available across all institutions, he led work streams across the Dubai government to carry out the projects that had been authorised. This directive aims to achieve the objectives of the "Dubai 10X" programme, which are centred on supporting collaborative efforts across governmental bodies to hasten development and produce novel models that cities in the area and throughout the globe may use. 

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai launched the "Dubai 10X" initiative in 2017, and it has been instrumental in moving a number of forward-thinking projects ahead in Dubai. Furthermore, it has directly influenced the transformation of government services by embracing innovation and technology.
