Sharjah Taxi has transported 1.465 million passengers during the first quarter of 2023

In the first three months of 2023, Sharjah Taxi carried 1.465 million passengers. 750 different kinds and brands of cars make up the fleet.To meet the diverse requirements of the community, Sharjah Taxi offers a range of vehicle options, including family and women's cars and vehicles for the disabled.

In addition to taxi routes that are dispersed throughout the Emirate and the eastern districts, they also provide private automobiles at Sharjah Airport.

The Sharjah taxi fleet currently includes 364 hybrid vehicles and seeks to convert 80% of the Sharjah Taxi fleet operating at Sharjah International Airport and Sharjah City into environmentally-friendly hybrid vehicles by the end of 2023.

Additionally, Sharjah Taxi is putting a lot of effort into the taxi industry's next phase of expansion into artificial intelligence and smart technologies in order to increase performance efficiency and Sharjah's environmental sustainability by adding more hybrid cars to the fleet.

Such actions are a part of its plan to increase customer satisfaction continually and make it easier for Sharjah residents and tourists to obtain luxury, pleasant, and dependable transportation.

In accordance with the directives of the Government of Sharjah and of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to position the Emirate of Sharjah as a leader in sustainable practises in all sectors, Sharjah Taxi seeks to convert 100% of its entire fleet to eco-friendly hybrid vehicles dual-powered by fuel and electricity.

One of the initiatives of Sharjah Asset Management, the investment division of the Sharjah government, is Sharjah Taxi.
