Sharjah Stadium will host the third edition of Superfix Tape Ball Cricket Championship in December

News EventThe Superfix Tape Ball Cricket Championship, in its third edition, is scheduled to take place in December at the historic Sharjah Stadium. Ten teams, including Pakistan and India, will compete in the much-awaited tape-ball community tournament, which is scheduled from December 13 to 15.
The tournament's specifics were revealed by Superfix Group Chairman Naveed Ahmed, along with important team members Umar Farooq, Director of Strategic Alliances; Arshad Anjum, Media Director; and Sajjid Abbasi, Director of Field Operation, at a press conference held at a nearby hotel in Dubai.
Saqlain Mushtaq, a well-known cricket player from Pakistan, has been selected this year's event brand ambassador.
According to Umar Farooq, who shared details on the event format, ten teams would take part. The teams will play for Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, and the United Arab Emirates.
There will be two groups of 23 matches in the competition, with six overs in each inning. Farooq also revealed a financial award of 30,000 dirhams for the victorious team and 15,000 dirhams for the runner-up.
