Sharjah Safari, the worlds largest safari outside Africa, will open for its third season on September 21

It was announced on Tuesday that the biggest safari outside of Africa would begin its third season on September 21. Visitors are welcome at the Sharjah Safari from 8:30 am to 6 pm. For a walking tour, tickets start at Dh40 for adults and Dh15 for kids. For adult tours of the sanctuary, prices range from Dh120 to Dh275.

The park has added more animals to its collection, including a wide variety of mammal, reptile, and bird species. At the refuge, more than 200 animals have given birth, including an extinct African species called the Scimitar oryx. Samra, an elephant from the African savannah, was also born. Also highlighted by the park is the rearing of the endangered Madagascar Paratilapia fish.
