Sharjah Residents will enjoy free parking during the Eid Al Fitr holidays as confirmed by the emirate's municipality

During the Eid Al Fitr holidays, Sharjah residents will get free parking, the emirate's government announced on Wednesday.

On the first through third days of Eid, parking costs will not be charged. 7-day paid parking zones, which may be found by keeping an eye out for the blue parking information signs, are exempt from it.

Depending on when the Moon is spotted to mark the beginning of the Islamic festival, Sharjah residents will be able to park for nothing for either four or five days this year.

Free parking in Sharjah will start on April 20 because the official Eid holiday lasts from Ramadan 29 to Shawwal 3.
