Sharjah residents can easily pay their utility bills through 'Digital Sharjah'

Authorities in Sharjah announced on Sunday that residents may now conveniently pay their utility bills using the digital platform, "Digital Sharjah."

A new, sophisticated user interface has been added to the updated service to enhance user experience. Customers of Sharjah Electricity Water & Gas Authority (Sewa) may quickly examine the amounts owed on their accounts, regardless of whether they were manually added or connected to their Emirates ID. Customers can also simply file complaints or objections about past invoices by seeing them as PDF documents, which include up to ten past bills.

The initiative by Sharjah Digital Department (SDD) is a manifestation of the department's continuous efforts to improve platform services and guarantee continuous effectiveness and quick service delivery. SDD transforms the user experience by making constant improvements, each of which adds a new level of ease and value.

Additionally, the department frequently posts how-to videos in Arabic and English on its social media pages to direct visitors on how to use its services.

SDD provides more than sixty services from 19 public and commercial organisations, including all of the emirate's vital industries. Numerous payment methods are available to users, such as the Tahseel Digital Payment System, direct debit cards, credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.
