Sharjah Municipality ordered the closure of all parks due to unstable weather in the UAE

Due to the erratic weather in the United Arab Emirates, the Sharjah Municipality issued an order to close all the parks in the emirate. The parks will be accessible to the public when the stormy weather passes.

Sharjah Police had earlier suspended all activities at Desert Police Park due to the heavy rainfall and concern for the safety of all park regulars and staff. However, the park will remain open to visitors until the effects of the depression pass and the weather stabilises. The Kalba City municipality also declared the park and garden closures for a brief period.
