On October 27, Sharjah officials revealed updated paid parking hours for seven-day zones marked by blue parking signs. Starting November 1, drivers will be required to pay for parking from 8 AM to midnight, extending the previous fee hours, which were in effect from 8 AM to 10 PM. This adjustment aims to accommodate the growing demand for parking in the area during late evening hours.
These 16-hour paid parking zones will be in effect every day of the week, including public holidays. In Sharjah, designated parking areas are generally identified by blue and white curb markings, along with signs that offer detailed guidance on how to use the parking facilities and the associated fees. This system is designed to ensure that motorists are well-informed about the parking regulations in the area.
The parking fee outlined below applies to all paid parking areas in Sharjah. Motorists can conveniently pay for their parking tickets using the SMS parking service available throughout the emirate. This digital payment option streamlines the process, allowing users to manage their parking payments easily and efficiently without the need for physical payment methods.
