The city of Sharjah has introduced several updates to its parking system since late 2024, with one of these changes still pending implementation.
Known as the cultural capital of the UAE, Sharjah features parking spaces marked with blue and white curb lines, alongside signage that provides detailed information on rules and applicable fees.
In addition to daily parking charges, users have the flexibility to choose prepaid parking subscriptions. These plans cater to both individuals and businesses, allowing them to access paid parking spaces as per their preferences.
Individuals can select a personal subscription that covers either all areas of Sharjah or two designated zones, while businesses have the option of a city-wide parking plan. Subscription fees vary depending on the type of plan chosen.
