Sharjah Airport welcomed more than 2.8 million passengers from over 30 countries during July and August this year

According to the Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA), during the months of July and August of this year, more than 2.8 million passengers from more than 30 countries travelled through Sharjah Airport on 17,700 aeroplane operations. As per the airport authorities, this shows how much faith and confidence travellers have in the facility's services and ability to deliver a memorable and practical travel experience.

With almost 124,000 passengers, Doha had the biggest percentage of travellers arriving at and departing from Sharjah Airport, followed by Dhaka, Cairo, Trivandrum, and Amman. According to the airport authority, these encouraging numbers show the SAA's efforts to make Sharjah Airport one of the top five regional airports by providing travellers with a safe and smooth travel experience supported by market-leading services.
