Seven-day reading programme with a range of activities began on May 3rd will run until May 9, at Mamsha Al Saadiyat

The seven-day reading program, which takes place in Mamsha Al Saadiyat in conjunction with the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2024, begins today and runs through Thursday, May 9. All ages are welcome to participate, and it's being organized by Miral, Abu Dhabi's top producer of immersive experiences and locations. You don't have to register in advance to go.

During the first two days, six-year-old Emirati author Alfai Al Marzooqi will autograph books as part of the "Miral's Reading Experience" project. Being the youngest published author of a book, she is recognized by Guinness World Records.

In order to guarantee that everyone who enjoys reading can access them and to promote sustainable practices, there will also be a book donation campaign. There will be a range of courses in both Arabic and English, covering subjects such as writing, calligraphy, storytelling, art, and Arabic name-writing. Additionally, Alfai Al Marzooqi's four-year-old brother, Hamad Al Marzooqi, who is also a chef and business owner, will make a sustainable slime for kids.

In addition to classic tabletop board game "carrom," visitors can enjoy playing connect the dots, hangman, and other games in both languages. Spell bees in Arabic and English, puppet storytelling, and the recitation of traditional stories known as Al Khararif are among the other fun events.

Visit the group's social media pages for more details regarding the Miral Reading Experience schedule.
