As part of the "Year of Community" that President Sheikh Mohamed proclaimed last week, senior residents and foreigners will now be able to attend Al Ain Zoo for free.
Sheikh Mohamed wrote on social media, "Hand in hand we will work to strengthen social bonds, foster shared responsibility, and unlock potential for inclusive and sustainable growth."
The Al Ain Zoo is now offering free entrance to anyone 60 years of age or older. In the past, people 70 years of age and older were eligible for this offer.
The zoo has buildings, pathways, open spaces, transportation vehicles, and facilities to satisfy the needs of its senior visitors and make them easily accessible. Wheelchairs are also accessible at the Visitor Happiness Office upon request.
