Self-sponsored visa option available in UAE without employment

The easiest approach to relocate is usually when someone has a job offer, which takes care of their visa and health insurance. However, occasionally people choose to go abroad without having any employment at all.

UAE Golden Visa:

UAE Golden Visa grants long-term residency to holders. Holders of a UAE golden visa are permitted to live, work, and study in the nation throughout the duration of their visa, whether or not they find employment locally or elsewhere.

Without requiring specific sponsorship, the holder is free to work for themselves or any other business, local or elsewhere. In contrast to the regular residence visa, the UAE golden visa allows its holders to stay in the nation for an extended period without having a job.

Many individuals can apply, including these:

  • Professionals with advanced skills, such as those in the legal and educational fields. You must earn at least Dhs30,000 per month and possess a degree.
  • Entrepreneurs owning a business in the UAE which has an annual revenue of Dhs1mn or more.
  • Those who own real estate in the UAE valued at more than Dhs2 million.
  • Students who achieve academic excellence in secondary education in the UAE and graduates who enrol in universities in the UAE or one of the top 100 universities worldwide. These students can then go on to sponsor their family.

There is no limit on the number of domestic workers that golden visa holders may sponsor; they can sponsor family members for a period of ten years.

Two-year real-estate Investor Visa:

You can apply for the Property Investor Visa through the Dubai Land Department's (DLD) Cube Centre without having to work if you own property in Dubai valued at least Dhs750,000.

You will want a property mortgage statement and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) if the property is mortgaged.

You must provide documentation proving you have paid half of the total property value if the property is finished and not yet under construction.

These documents are required:

  • The title deed of the property
  • A copy of the original sale certificate
  • A bank's No-Objection Certificate (NOC), if the property is mortgaged
  • A marriage certificate (if you and your partner jointly own the home)
  • A copy of your most recent UAE visa
  • Passport photo
  • Emirates ID

UAE retirement VISA:

A visa to retire in Dubai may be applied for by anybody over 55. To be eligible, a person must be at least 55 years old, have current medical insurance that covers the UAE, and either own a mortgage-free property in the nation worth at least Dhs2 million, have a bank deposit in the UAE worth at least Dhs1 million, or show proof of a minimum monthly income of Dhs20,000.

The required documents are:

  • A passport copy
  • A copy of the marriage certificate, if the spouse is being sponsored,
  • A copy of the applicant's visa, if they are UAE residents
  • Copies of Emirates IDs ( if the applicant resides in the UAE currently)
  • Proof of eligibility
  • A current UAE-based health insurance coverage.

The five-year renewable retirement resident visa is offered to the individual, their spouse, and their children. You can renew the visa as long as you continue to fulfil the financial conditions.
