His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has enacted a law creating the Department of Government Enablement - Abu Dhabi in his position as Ruler of Abu Dhabi. The department's goals are to offer Abu Dhabi Government institutions services that improve human capital and digitalisation, deliver digital government services, and foster collaboration to increase efficiency and productivity across government organisations.
The Department of Government Support, the Human Resources Authority, the Abu Dhabi School of Government, and the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority will be replaced by the Department of Government Enablement - Abu Dhabi, with the Statistics Centre - Abu Dhabi serving as an associate body.
