RTA treated 150 workers with a tour of Global Village and offered them free Nol cards on May 1

150 employees were given free Nol cards and given a tour of Global Village by Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The employees took in the entertainment acts, explored the pavilions and stores, and enjoyed the multicultural park.

Global Village announced that it will reopen for Season 28 in October 2023, closing its doors for the season at 2 a.m. on May 1.

On May 1, RTA celebrated the contributions made by employees to the completion of the authority's initiatives. The corporate principles of RTA support creating an atmosphere that is courteous and supportive of all workers, and this celebration is in line with those beliefs.

RTA applauded the celebrations and interesting events celebrating International Workers' Day as they build a pleasant work environment, stimulate employees, and encourage them to succeed in acknowledgment of their exceptional contributions.

To provide participants with a thorough awareness of work standards and the implementation of health, safety, and environmental practices, RTA enrolled 6,270 employees and contractors in the Smart Safety Licence training course in 2022. The course also aims to improve cooperation and foster a feeling of accountability for environmental sustainability, health, and safety.
