With the Roads and Transport Authority's (RTA) new pre-booking system, drivers in Dubai may now avoid lines when they plan appointments for vehicle testing at Tasjeel centers in Al Qusais and Al Barsha.
Car owners can avoid lengthy waits by using the booking tool, especially on busy days and during peak hours. Customers who visit the Tasjeel centers in Al Qusais and Al Barsha without an appointment will be charged Dh100 during the trial period.
Certain examinations, like the Export with Number Plates Test, Registration Test, and Renewal Test, require reservations in advance; other tests can be taken without one.
Given that they are two of the biggest automotive testing facilities in Dubai, RTA selected the Al Qusais and Al Barsha Tasjeel centers for the experiment.
Enhancing the experience for a diverse group of patrons, especially those who are used to visiting without appointments, is the goal. The goal of this project is to improve the standard of an essential service that a large section of the public uses.
In an attempt to make service access easier for People of Determination, senior citizens, and residents, pre-booking is not required.
Drivers can schedule their vehicle inspections online at www.rta.ae or through the RTA Dubai smartphone app.
In order to execute more effective solutions, RTA will closely monitor the trial period at these centers, evaluating performance to identify strengths and areas for development.
