With the official opening of a new bus station near the Stadium Metro Station, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has made a significant improvement to the city's public transportation system. The new station will better serve the Al Nahda and Al Qusais areas, providing bus riders with improved connectivity and establishing a link to the Stadium Metro Station.
The Stadium Bus Station is intended to cut down on commuter travel times by providing direct access to a number of transit options, including multiple bus routes. With ten designated bus stops along the routes, passengers can anticipate a more effective and convenient experience.
Along with better access to public transportation, the station has a number of improvements. While waiting for their busses, customers can find covered waiting places and outdoor seating.
In order to keep passengers informed about schedules and any possible delays, a transport information screen provides real-time updates.
There is a NoI card top-up machine and a Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) at the bus stop.
In order to increase commuter safety, pedestrian crossings and traffic lights are also installed.
