RTA Dubais latest number plate auction; number plates of two, three, four, and five digits up for auction

The RTA has placed 90 number plates of two, three, four and five digits for any cars up for auction. On Saturday, October 12, license plates with the codes AA, L, N, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z will be up for sale.

RTA has dubbed the AA17 and V96 plates on sale at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel auction as “super plates” which are likely to sell for a lot of money. Anticipate the AA17 license plate to fetch a comparable price to the astounding Dhs7.32 million that the AA16 license plate sold for earlier this year.

On Monday, October 7, you may register for this auction via the RTA Drive App, the authority's website, or the Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Al Ramool, Deira, and Al Barsha. 

Although pre-registration is advised, you can register on the day of the event starting at 2 p.m., since there will be a limited number of seats available in the bidding hall and preference will be given to registered bidders. 

In addition to paying a non-refundable participation fee of Dhs120, each bidder must have a Traffic File filed in Dubai and submit a security check for Dhs25,000 made out to the RTA.
