Road diversions have been implemented in Dubai due to water accumulation following heavy rainfall on Monday

In Dubai, road diversions have been put in place as a result of water accumulation from the intense rain that fell on the city on February 12 and for the most of the night. Drivers are urged by the Road and Transport Authority (RTA) to choose alternate routes rather than Sheikh Zayed Road in the Jebel Ali area.

Due to the ongoing rains in the UAE, private-sector businesses have been requested to maintain flexible work hours on February 13. On Tuesday, February 13, 2024, government workers in Dubai will work remotely for an additional day. Tuesday's forecast calls for overcast conditions and the possibility of rain during the day in certain areas of the north and east. It will be humid overnight and into Wednesday morning, which might cause some inland and coastal regions, especially in the west, to see the production of fog or mist.

Generally low to moderate winds are predicted, with occasional increasing as clouds build. In the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea, moderate to mild sea conditions are expected to progressively improve from rough in the morning.
