Renowned artist Refik Anadol unveiled the world’s longest AI art content at Terminal 1 of Dubai International Airport

A vibrant digital artwork that mixes millions of images of nature will greet visitors to Dubai. Just in time for COP28, renowned artist Refik Anadol revealed the longest piece of artificial intelligence (AI) art material in the world at Dubai International Airport's Terminal 1. This cutting-edge piece of art showcases an AI Data Sculpture that is inspired by a massive collection of more than 400 million publicly accessible photos of plants, animals, and water.

Refik collaborated with Dubai Airports and outdoor advertising firm JCDecaux to provide travellers arriving in the city an experience they will never forget.

The four chapters of the digital masterpiece "Data Portal: Nature," which stands at the intersection of generative AI, aesthetics, and environmental studies, serve as a reminder to viewers of how fleeting nature can be. This unique artwork aims to inspire and interact with people on several levels by using the state-of-the-art enormous displays that were recently placed at Terminal 1 Arrivals as an exceptional canvas.
