News EventThe 15th Ice Obstacle Challenge Championship (Snow Challenge), which is set to take place on Sunday, September 22, has opened for registration, according to a statement released by Ski Dubai and the Dubai Sports Council (DSC).
The popular yearly event, which is organized by the Majid Al Futtaim Company and the Dubai Sports Council, will take place in the Ski Dubai Snow Hall in the Mall of the Emirates, one of Dubai's top tourist attractions and the winner of the title of greatest indoor ski resort in the world.
The deadline to register for this unique event is September 19. Those who would like to participate can secure their spots by visiting the Premier Online website at https://www.premieronline.com/event/ice_warrior_challenge_15th_edition_7102.
The race features twenty to twenty-two ice obstacles that are the pinnacle of thrills and difficulty. The course is 3.5 kilometers long.
Participants in the "Ice Challenge" range in age from 15 to 60 years old for both men and women. Three competitive categories will be available: the Elite category, which is restricted to men and women who can finish the challenge in under 25 minutes; the Individual category, which is open to amateurs of all fitness levels; and the Team category, which is for groups of five participants who aim to improve teamwork.
Wall climbing, a sloping ledge, crawling over nets, under cars, and inside narrow tubes are just a few of the obstacles and hurdles that will turn the Ski Dubai snow hall into a racetrack.
The challenge will begin at 6.30 am. Each competitor must be prepared with a timing chip connected to their foot and their race number on the front of their shirt no later than 15 minutes before to the start of each category.
Every competitor who finishes the event will get a unique medal and a commemorative Snow Challenge T-shirt.
