Arrivals at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport nearly doubled in 2024, a 28% increase from 2022. Due in significant part to the flight connections, the surge drew almost 661,000 passengers to the emirate.
By opening up new markets, direct flights from nine cities—including Bucharest, Prague, Moscow, Almaty, Tashkent, Warsaw, Katowice, Jeddah, and Hyderabad—have greatly increased the emirate's tourism industry.
Higher visitor spending resulted in a 12% increase in Ras Al Khaimah's tourism earnings. The lengthier average stay of seven nights among foreign tourists was a major contributor to the development in tourism, as was Ras Al Khaimah's varied attractions, which included beaches, mountain adventures, and cultural heritage.
By offering a distinctive experience, the See Double summer campaign, in collaboration with Musandam in Oman and neighboring Ras Al Khaimah, effectively boosted tourism.
