'Ramadan In Dubai' campaign; Residents and visitors can enjoy a variety of events this weekend enhancing the joy of the season

Both residents and visitors may enjoy a variety of events this weekend to fully embrace the festive mood as part of the 'Ramadan In Dubai' promotion. The city will witness nightly fireworks, dazzling illumination displays, community events, and exciting retail discounts as part of celebrations organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE).

The 'Ramadan In Dubai' campaign was initiated by the Dubai Media Council, following orders from Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council (DMC). This is the first time that the public and private sectors have come together to celebrate the holy month as one.

Citywide, illuminations will create vibrant displays that light up famous structures and neighborhoods. As part of Ramadan Reflections, the Shared Light Festival will be spectacular, offering residents and guests the chance to see breathtaking projections at Al Seef, Dubai Festival City, Al Habai Mosque, and the Grand Jumeirah Mosque every evening from 8 p.m. to 2.30 a.m.

This weekend, there will be lavish iftar buffets, classy and private suhoors, and informal café snacks available across the city as restaurants and tents serve carefully chosen celebratory menus.

Through its DineOut service, Careem's "Everything App" will also allow visitors and residents of Dubai to reserve iftar packages in advance at more than 150 locations. Along with quick savings on meal bills ranging from 15 to 40 percent at all locations, customers will also receive an extra 30 percent off Hala Taxi journeys to and from the venues.

Locals can participate in sporting events and culinary contests, peruse shopping establishments, taste a variety of appetizers from different restaurants, and enjoy entertaining competitions at Layali Al Ghaf in Mushrif Park.

Over the weekend, tourists may enjoy live music at Al Seef, Al Khawaneej Walk, and Bluewaters, where traditional Al Musaharati, toomina, oud, and qanun performers perform late into the night. Ramadan markets offer a unique opportunity to find regional artists, purchase presents, and take in the lively ambiance of the neighborhood. The Ramadan District at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Ramadan at the Bay at Dubai Festival City, Souq Ramadan 24 in Deira, and Ramadaniyat at THE HUB in Majlis Al Khawaneej are just a few of the marketplaces that families and friends can visit.

Returning for a second year, the Great Online Sale will take place from March 29 to March 31 and will be even bigger. Those looking for digital devices, household goods, and Eid gifts may purchase top local and international brands from the comfort of their homes during the massive three-day online sale.
