The Jebel Jais Sledder, Ras Al Khaimah's popular ride down the Hajar Mountains, is currently "temporarily closed". A reopening date remains uncertain, according to a call centre representative from Jais Adventure Park.
Known as the region’s longest toboggan ride, the sledder has been out of service "for nearly a week now", the executive confirmed over a phone call on Thursday.
While no specific reason for the closure has been provided, the call centre staff indicated it may be "due to standard maintenance procedures".
