Public parking in Dubai will be free on Friday, July 21, as announced by RTA

As the UAE celebrates the Islamic New Year, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that public parking in Dubai will be free on Friday, July 21. Except for multi-level terminals, parking fees will not be charged in paid zones. Employees in the emirates' public and private sectors will enjoy a three-day weekend to commemorate the commencement of the Hijiri New Year 1445.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has also announced modifications to its service hours. Customer Happiness Centres, paid parking zones, public buses, metro, tram, marine transport, and service provider centres (car technical testing) are all affected by the changes. Service provider centres (Vehicle Technical Testing) and customer satisfaction centres will be closed beginning Friday, July 21, and will reopen on Saturday, July 22.

Except for smart customer happiness centres in Umm Ramool, Al Kafaf, Deira, Al Barsha, and RTA Head Office, all customer happiness centres will be closed on Friday, July 21.
