NewsProperty buyers now no longer need to make a minimum of Dh1 million down payment to be eligible for the Golden Visa, according to Khaleej Times reports. Owners who choose a mortgage or payment plan and whose home is worth more than Dh2 million are eligible to apply for a long-term visa.
An executive clarified that the owner is eligible to apply for the 10-year residence regardless of the upfront payment amount. Owners are eligible to sponsor their parents, children, and spouses for a 10-year term, just like any other Golden Visa holder.
The UAE offers self-sponsored long-term residence to investors, businesspeople, scientists, exceptional students and graduates, front-line heroes of the humanitarian movement, and entrepreneurs.
