President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan paid tributes to the legacy of the UAEs Founding Father

The UAE's late founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, was honoured today on the occasion of Zayed Humanitarian Day by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

As we commemorate #ZayedHumanitarianDay, Sheikh Mohamed tweeted: "We continue to be guided by the values of the late Sheikh Zayed, who sincerely cared about all people and their dignity. His kindness and compassion changed people's lives all around the world and still serve as an example to the UAE's current humanitarian efforts.

The event is commemorated every year on the 19th of Ramadan, which was the day of Sheikh Zayed's passing in 2004. The 19th day of Ramadan falls on April 10 this year.
