NewsWell-known UAE raffle companies Mahzooz and Emirates Draw have submitted bids to the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) for the national lottery licence. The operators have affirmed that the National Lottery licencing application procedure is now complete, and regulators are working diligently to choose the most qualified applicant for the licence.
Following the orders of the UAE's Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), a federal organisation established in September, the two well-known lottery draws, Mahzooz and Emirates Draw, will cease operations on January 1, 2024. There will only be one national lottery provider in the United Arab Emirates, as verified by well-known raffle and gaming businesses Mahzooz and Emirates Draw. The GCGRA will grant the licence in the first quarter of 2024.
