Pods for transporting passengers to their doorstep at the RTAs stand at Gitex Global 2024

Residents of Dubai may eventually be able to travel the city in smooth-gliding autonomous electric pods above the earth. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) presence at the Gitex Global 2024 expo, which opened in Dubai on Monday, featured a number of cutting-edge technologies, including the Floc Duo rail. How the pods will be transporting passengers to their doorstep can be seen in a video of the rail network.

At the exhibit was a replica of the pod that showed each pod having eight passenger seats. Depending on the flow of traffic in real time, the pods can be operated individully or in clusters. The Floc Duo rail is incredibly versatile, operating on elevated rails, roadways, and tunnels depending on the demands of transportation.
