Perseid meteor shower is making an appearance again and can be viewed on August 12

As the globe passes through the debris path left by a past comet, an annual meteor shower known as the Perseid meteor shower is returning.

Short bursts of moving light will be visible in the night sky when the tiny rock fragments enter the Earth's atmosphere.

On Monday, August 12, stargazers should save this important day in their calendars since it will be the prime time to witness this incredible show.

The Sharjah Archaeological Centre is hosting an evening stargazing program, where specialists and professional telescopes will be available to provide you with the greatest view.
