People living in the Green Community in DIP need to think of alternative routes due to construction works

Residents of Dubai Investments Park's Green Community must rethink the routes they travel because of significant road construction taking place. Due to work on the Yalayis Street Roundabout junction, there will be a traffic detour on Yalayis Street D57 for nine months. Hence, residents have to plan before going.

The construction is for Etihad Rail, a 1,200 km railway project that will start at the Saudi Arabian-Oman border and travel throughout the United Arab Emirates. The routes leading from Dubai Investments to Yalayis Street Roundabout and the entry to Dubai Investments from Yalayis Street through the same crossroads are closed in addition to the roundabout itself.

Light vehicles like school buses, vans, three-wheelers, and pickup pickups are the main exceptions. Yalayis Street D57 will have two more U-turns installed in the direction of Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road.

Spain's CAF is designing the Etihad Rail passenger train, and it will be manufactured, supplied, and maintained in accordance with European standards. There will be first class, business class, and economy seating segments available for selection. It is anticipated that 36.5 million passengers would use the Etihad Rail each year once it is operational.
