Parkin said on Wednesday that certain parts of Dubai would be subject to new variable parking prices.
The public parking operator established an hourly rate of Dh25, near event sites. On February 17, this updated pricing will go into effect.
The operator suggested "public transport, if you’re heading to an event zone" in a tweet on X. A 'Grand Event Zone' designation was also given to the vicinity of the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Starting on February 1, all zone F parking spaces are subject to the increased fees. Al Sufouh 2, The Knowledge Village, Dubai Media City, and Dubai Internet City are a few of these locations.
