Palm tree-lined Zawaya Walk in Sharjah where visitors can take a stroll without breaking a sweat

The palm tree-lined Zawaya Walk in Sharjah has become popular on social media. Last summer Zawaya Walk offered free artificial rain displays to all visitors. Here you can walk without becoming tired in this oppressive heat. Every downpour lasts around five minutes and has thunder-like sound effects to give guests a genuine experience. There are shows every hour, from 9 am to 12 pm, and then from 5 pm to 11 pm.

In addition to the free rain shows, the shopping destination's variety of retail stores, shops, eateries, and cafés have made it a well-liked hangout for locals. The open complex consists of a bridge that spans the gap between the two ends of the structure, an artificial lake, and an outside walkway.

Al Tunaiji and other developers have observed that summertime tourist attendance has been persistently poor. In an effort to chill the area, more than 300 trees have been planted there in recent months. The engineers also thought of utilising misting fans that spray water to produce a cooling effect. Then they considered creating artificial rain, as precipitation "cools the atmosphere." After the concept was completed, they decided not to engage specialist firms to carry it out. Rather, the design was carried out by their engineering team "that suits the place's requirements."
