Operation of the first phase of electric buses announced by Sharjah's Roads and Transport Authority

The first phase of electric bus operations has been announced by the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA).

Three intercity routes will be serviced by 10 buses.  This is a part of the emirate's endeavour to back the Climate Neutrality 2050 program.

According to SRTA, Sharjah wants to achieve environmental sustainability and encourage environmentally friendly public transportation.
