One of the largest attractions with over 100,000 trees - Hanging Gardens in Kalba open to residents

The Supreme Council member and ruler of Sharjah, Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, officially opened the UAE's newest attraction, Hanging Gardens in Kalba, on the Sharjah-Kalba Road, on March 8. The park, now open for residents, is one of the largest attractions with over 100,000 trees spanning an area of 1.6 million square feet and towering at a height of 281 meters above sea level.

Dr. Sheikh Sultan accompanied guests on a tour of the garden's sections as he officially opened it. He examined the garden's visual features, such as the waterfalls, flower-decked terraces, and green areas. The Sharjah Ruler inspected the 215-seat centre restaurant in the garden and posed for memorable pictures with the kids. With its traditional semi-circular architectural style, the restaurant offers views of the waterfall and gardens.
