One Billion Followers Summit has opened applications for the One Billion Award from November 10 till November 30

The One Billion Followers Summit is accepting submissions for the One Billion Award, a million-dollar reward that recognizes exceptional content creators around the world, in an effort to highlight the beneficial impact that content creation plays.

The winner will be announced at the closing ceremony of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, which is being held from January 11 to 13, 2025, under the subject "Content for Good," and is being hosted by Dubai's New Media Academy. The award's applications opened on Sunday and will be accepted until November 30.

Through the 1 Billion Followers Summit website, content providers can apply for the prize at www.1billionsummit.com.

Candidates for the award must submit information about their projects, including their background and main ideas. Third parties may also nominate content creators for the award if they have a beneficial impact on their communities and spread messages of social good, caring values, and educational content.

According to the 1 Billion Followers Summit, applicants who produce high-quality material that has a beneficial social impact are encouraged to apply.

These include the following criteria:

- The information should inspire people, unite nations, foster unity, encourage sustainability, and uphold principles of empathy and compassion. It should also have scientific, cultural, humanitarian, and social worth.

- It should fulfill recognized quality and design requirements, be creative and unique, and follow social media platforms' guidelines.

- It needs to encourage and exhibit communication and involvement with a wide range of people.

Ten finalists will be chosen from among the entries submitted between December 1 and December 15 by a specialized panel that will begin the One Billion Award selection process.

Online voting will be available for the public to select their preferred projects between December 16 and December 31. The judges will count those votes on January 11 and 12.

Three specialized tracks—technology, economy, and content—will be introduced at the forthcoming 2025 Summit to improve the experience for both professional and amateur content creators.
