Official song for UAE National Day 'Badou Baniina Ummah' released

The Union Day Organising Committee has officially launched the anthem for the 53rd UAE National Day. Titled Badou Baniina Ummah, the song will be featured in the live broadcast of the official celebrations on December 2.

The poem, which translates to "Bedouins Built a Nation," conveys a profound love for the homeland and pride in the nation’s identity. As the official anthem for Eid Al Etihad, it emphasizes unwavering loyalty to the leadership that has guided the Emirates to remarkable achievements.

The song reflects the aspirations of future generations, who, equipped with knowledge, strive to shape a prosperous future for the Emirates. At the same time, they cherish the nation's customs and traditions and celebrate its rich heritage.

The composition blends traditional Bedouin values with the modernity of science and civilization. This mirrors the UAE’s vision, akin to the Pleiades star that illuminated the paths for past generations and continues to serve as a symbol of the nation’s growth and accomplishments.

Badou Baniina Ummah is penned by poet Ali Al-Khawar, with music by composer Mohammed Al-Ahmad and performed by the Emirates Choir. The song is now available for streaming on platforms such as Spotify, Anghami, YouTube, and Apple Music.
