Number of private enterprises in UAE has increased significantly in the last six months

In the last six months, the number of private enterprises in the UAE has increased significantly. In the nation, 72,004 businesses were granted new licenses between January and June. 

The number of private sector enterprises has climbed to 5.26 lakh from 4,53,367 in 2023. 

Last year, there was a 7.76 percent growth in the number of skilled workers in the private sector.

The typical age of employees is between 18 and 35 years old. The percentage of young employees is 50.8%. 

Private sector licenses were obtained by the following industries, sectors: construction, trade and commercial enterprises, repair and service, various offices, quarry, mining, transportation, warehouses, health and social, small and large establishments.
