No parking fees and toll charges in Abudhabi on the occasion of the Islamic New Year on July 21

On Wednesday, the Department of Municipalities' Integrated Transport Centre in Abu Dhabi stated that there will be no parking or toll charges on the Islamic New Year on July 21 (Friday).

"MAWAQiF surface parking fees will be waived from Friday, July 21, 2023, to Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 7:59 a.m." Furthermore, parking taxes at the Musaffah M-18 truck parking lot would be waived throughout the vacation, according to the Integrated Transport Centre of the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi.

The ITC asked vehicles to park appropriately in specified places and avoid parking in residential spots between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. In addition, the ITC has declared that the Darb toll gate system will be free on Friday. Meanwhile, public bus services will operate on a Friday and holiday timetable. The Customer Happiness Centres around the emirate will be closed during the holidays.
