New traffic fines of up to Dh2,000 have been announced in the UAE; seeks to improve safety during emergencies

NewsIn the UAE, new traffic fines of up to 2,000 Dh have been imposed. The "new additions" that seek to improve safety, particularly in times of emergency and bad weather, were announced on Twitter by the interior ministry.
- Assembling close to dams, floods, and valleys when it's raining: Dh1,000 fine and six black points.
- Entering flooded valleys regardless of how dangerous they are results in a Dh2,000 fine, 23 black points, and a 60-day car seizure.
- Interfering with the ability of the appropriate authorities to control traffic, ambulances, and rescue vehicles during emergencies, crises, and rainstorms, as well as in flooded valleys: Dh1,000 fine, four black points, and 60-day car seizure.
